Ticket Scanning Overview
- Ticket Scanning may be performed via a phone, tablet or laptop that has a functioning camera.
- The scanning process requires access to the TicketHost website so an internet connection is required at all times.
- It is strongly recommended that scanning devices be fully charged or plugged into a power source.
Login as a Scanning Operator
- The event organiser will provide operators with the Scanner Login Link.
- The link will be sent as a QR Code or a clickable URL. The link may be sent via Email, SMS or made available as a printed QR Code.
- Navigate to the Scanner Login page, then enter your name and phone number before clicking the Send Verification Code button.
- The code will be sent to the phone number you provided. Enter the code and then click the Login button.
After logging in, if your Scanner Settings are not valid you will be re-directed to the Scanner Settings screen.
Otherwise, you will be re-directed to the Ticket Scan screen.
Scanner Settings
- Select the current Event/Session that you are scanning tickets for.
- Select whether you're scanning is to Check-In or Check-Out attendees.
- Click the Save button.
