Scanner Operators' Guide Part 1

Ticket Scanning Overview

  • Ticket Scanning may be performed via a phone, tablet or laptop that has a functioning camera.
  • The scanning process requires access to the TicketHost website so an internet connection is required at all times.
  • It is strongly recommended that scanning devices be fully charged or plugged into a power source.

Login as a Scanning Operator

  • The event organiser will provide operators with the Scanner Login Link.
  • The link will be sent as a QR Code or a clickable URL. The link may be sent via Email, SMS or made available as a printed QR Code.
  • Navigate to the Scanner Login page, then enter your name and phone number before clicking the Send Verification Code button.
  • The code will be sent to the phone number you provided. Enter the code and then click the Login button.
